A lot of interesting news emerged from the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this week. At the top of the list were announcements by several automakers about how they are partnering with Microsoft to enhance their connected car strategies, bringing productivity as well as entertainment to the dashboard of your car.
In writing about the new partnerships on The Official Microsoft Blog, Peggy Johnson, executive vice president of global business development at Microsoft, shared some ideas that go beyond the work that Microsoft and its new partners are doing in the automobile space. Some of Johnson’s comments also point to how we are using Office 365 and other innovative products to expand and redefine mobility.
“When Microsoft talks about mobility, our interest is the mobility of the person, not of any single device,” Johnson says. “After all, people now want their technology experience to move with them, from place to place and device to device, at home, at work and on the move.”
That syncs precisely with our ongoing work to make using Office 365 a seamless experience across all devices and platforms, available at any time and from any location.
The coming year will bring many new Office 365 features and capabilities—all designed to enhance your communication, collaboration and productivity wherever you go.
